Methods of Admission into the Universities There are three methods of admission into any University. These are: i. Through JAMB (UTME) ii. By Direct Entry iii. By Direct Transfer (A) Admission through JAMB (UTME). To qualify for admission through JAMB, a prospective Student must first have obtained: i. His/Her SSCE or NECO or GCE O’ Level with Credit in five subjects including English and Mathematics and an approved in not more than two sittings. ii. Three credit passes in the SSCE or NECO or GCE O Level obtained at one sitting plus two merit passes in Teachers Grade II Certificate.
